This 57-hectare estate belonging to Vignobles De Terroirs operates under the “Bordeaux Supérieur” AOC.
Located in the communes of Saint-Ferme, it is in the heart of the appellation which represents over half of the vineyards in the Gironde, the largest producer of fine wines in the world. This commune extends at the end of the Entre-deux-Mers on high plateaus dug by the valleys of the streams: the Doulens, the Gouraude, the Gageante and the Lane.
The majority of the vineyard, originally planted in 1960 under the name of Château Mougneaux, was replanted in 1995.
The restructuring operation enabled the vat-room to be equipped with temperature-controlled vats holding a total of 19,800 hectoliters and the construction of a barrel-cellar.
The wines under the Bordeaux Supérieur appellation form a selection from Bordeaux wines, being subject to more stringent production and ageing conditions.
They offer all the characteristics of top-quality wines, suitable for cellaring.

Tasting notes
This dense wine, with a deep purple color, has a complex, balanced nose combining aromas of ripe dark fruit, woody notes and spicy touches. On the palate, it is full-bodied, fat and opulent, marked by a mellow acidity and ripe, round tannins.

A clean, well-made wine which will go perfectly with a sirloin steak in a wine sauce or a baron of lamb.
